KL to London: Day 129

Hmm, I have no idea what the purpose of donation of unwanted ironmongery is, mainly padlocks? Look at these, the whole bridge is full with padlocks.

I like this more as those padlocks look more colorful and variety compared to those rusty on the bridge. Can I have one?

Today is day 129 of my travelling since valentines start. I have been travelling with this black bicycle for more than 4 months from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she is part of my family now, haha!!

Look what we have here, IKEA. But it looks kinda small, more like an Ikea grocery store, haha. Did they sell hot meat balls, chicken wings and bottomless ground coffee here? I am curious, hehe

I am back to the road after I got my valid Visa to enter Moldova. Has anyone heard about or visited this country before? This is my first time and I have not heard of this country before. I have done some research on basic information on this country, Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, this country has experience in Russian Empire, Ottoman Empire and followed by Soviet. Unfortunately, this country is one of the poorest countries in Europe after the dissolution of Soviet.

I am around 70km from Odessa to the border. The road is smooth as there is less traffic, the traffic is not as busy as the road entering Thailand ๐. Look at it, the road is straight and smooth.

I really miss out buying the sunflower seeds. Do you think I should? Look at it, is beautiful

Hmm, my tyre has punctured after entering Moldova. It’s a norm for everyone who is cycling. This is the 5th puncture from Malaysia at 10,000km. It is about 2000km per tyre
Someone may have asked what tyre and tube I am using. Well, I am using just some normal tubes and tires. I just cut two layers of motorbike tube and inserted them in it. And is done๐

No caption on this photo because I can’t find any translation ๐. Anyone can help?

As a landlocked country, I can see many people are enjoying the river just like the beach. I think also because it is currently summer, the weather is getting hot right now. Although is landlocked country, Moldova has more than 3000 rivers and streams

I was thinking about the place to camp for tonight. Itโs either I hide inside the sunflower farm, surrounded by the sunflower or I explore and hide somewhere near the river. I have chosen the second one. Hopefully there will be no up tide during the middle of the night or some strange and big walking fish will wake me up.. Haha
Anyway, the food and grocery are cheap here and I have managed to get some Leu (currency of Moldova).
